IE6 + PNG Images = My anger rising
on June 11, 2008 at 9:30 pmI have been trying, essentially all day, to make this template’s PNG header image, RSS image, and other images work in IE6 without a giant gray box. I’ve decided to say “fuck it.”
IE6 is deprecated and old and bad. If you are using it, upgrade. This site works in FF, Opera(assumed), and IE7.

Yeah. IE is a pain with PNGs. However, if you do feel like making it work for people who still use IE, there is a way!
You need to use a javascript file that will basically ‘fix’ the PNG. We used to do it at work all the time. This isn’t the file that we used, but it appears to be one that will work:
