I was perusing Facebook this morning while at work. I don’t normally get involved with Facebook, but I decided to throw myself into a group for those that enjoy WoW just to pay homage to an activity that takes quite a bit of my time up from week to week. I punched “World of Warcraft” into the group search, and surprisingly there are MANY groups with the focus of hating on WoW.
Some such groups include: “If this group gets to 100,000 my boyfriend will quit WoW” and “RIT students who aren’t World of Warcraft Nerds”. This makes me beg the question: what about WoW makes you hate it so much?

Car alarms are a debatably common tool on most cars today. Their effect, while good at heart, has questionable results in the real world. Something that occured last night, while in the midst of a deep and comfortable sleep, leads me to believe that car alarms have a couple of fatal flaws.
Aside from their dubious effect on actually detering a criminal, they have a couple of important tendencies that, while good at heart, have caused me to, essentially, want to destroy every single one ever made.

Yesterday really marked the point at which this occurred, but today it became official. President Bush signed the FISA bill today making it a US law, which changes a large number of important laws about federal spying laws. I won’t bore you with the story, since you know it already. I would, however, like to highlight some of the things it does and reflect on how these affect Americans.

There seems to be some kind of huge uproar over a story about some bitches in high school that got pregnant. Here is a link to the story: http://www.time.com/time/nation/article/0,8599,1817272,00.html
Whats the big deal, honestly? So maybe they had a pact or maybe they didn’t. Maybe they banged some creep dudes and got pregnant too early. Maybe they are just stupid broads that made some bad choices.
No matter the event, the answer is clear: this story is way to stupid to continue wasting real resources on.

If you play World of Warcraft (WoW), you may be aware that since the first expansion, The Burning Crusade, PVP has never been the same. A large number of factors have played into my feeling this way, but there is one key issue: resilience.

Jon and I recently got hit with $20 charges ($40 total for all you mathematicians out there) by RIT Housing Operations. They claim that we stole, destroyed, or in some way removed a tower lamp from the room. I find this to be hilarious because, upon move-in, there was no lamp.
